Word of the week: Thinking
Thinking - is the quiet skill that shapes our lives. The quality of our lives is deeply connected to the quality of our thinking.
WORD OF THE WEEK – PRINCIPLES
Principles are the values that guide our decisions
Some weeks, life feels simple and predictable. Other weeks feel like standing in the cereal aisle of life… overwhelmed and unsure which box to choose.
It’s usually in those messy, uncertain moments that our principles quietly step forward.
What are principles, really?
Principles are the values we choose to live by. They’re the inner “rules of the road” we set for ourselves.
Relationships (Connection)
Like plants, relationships need regular care and attention. Without it, they slowly fade.
OBSERVE -WORD OF THE WEEK
Observe is not passive—it is deeply intentional.
It is choosing to be present in your own life.
It is allowing yourself to see clearly before reacting.
It is giving yourself permission to slow down.
WORD OF THE WEEK – PRESENT (NOW)
What does it mean to be present?
To be present is a daily - sometimes even moment-by-moment - challenge to appreciate the small, everyday experiences of life.
Word of the Week: RESET- part 2 - Parenting
Children learn resilience not from perfection, but from watching adults reset with calm and compassion.
And sometimes the most important reset in the home is the one that begins with the parent.
Word of the Week: Reset - part 1
Why RESET?
Not because everything has fallen apart.
Not because there has been failure.
But because sometimes growth requires a pause — not a push.
Word of the Week: Anchor
An anchor does not stop the waves.
It simply keeps you grounded when they come.
Personally, I love thinking of anchor as an inner strength. That calm centre within you that whispers, “You are okay. Breathe. Stand firm.” It is the part of you that does not panic when life feels uncertain. It trusts. It holds.
